Laboratory of Professional Activity Support![]() Valery Nosulenko from the Russian Academy of Science and his Laboratory of Professional Activity Support (LPAS) of the Russian Ministry of Atomic Energy (SNIP) uses theories and methods from Russian psychology to study and design augmented workspaces. They create new interactive spaces in Moscow using a systematic paradigm of ethnomethodological observations and experiments. Video data, free verbalizations, and psychophysical data are integrated for an analysis based on evaluation of perceived quality of activity tools in the space, to connect designer and user models, and to translated these "perceptual models" into "physcial models". Some methods have been applied and developed at EDF R&D. Created by: admin last modification: Friday 05 of March, 2004 [16:45:09 UTC] by admin |
